Westhub ICT Center is hiring an experienced DevOps engineer to join us as a contract instructor and practitioner. You will train learners in modern DevOps practices while supporting the infrastructure behind our own products and client projects.
What You Will Do
- Teach core DevOps practices: version control, CI/CD pipelines, containerization and cloud deployment
- Guide trainees through setting up real deployment pipelines from scratch
- Run hands-on labs covering tools such as Docker, Git, and a major cloud provider
- Support infrastructure and deployment work for internal and client projects
- Help shape the DevOps curriculum as tools and best practices evolve
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, containerization and at least one major cloud platform
- Prior teaching, mentoring or bootcamp instruction experience is a strong advantage
- Able to explain infrastructure concepts clearly to non-specialists
- Able to work remotely from within Nigeria
Engagement: This is a contract-based role with a flexible schedule built around training cohorts. Priority is given to instructors who can commit to a consistent weekly teaching schedule.
