Westhub ICT Center is hiring an experienced security practitioner to join us as a contract instructor. You will train learners in core cyber security principles and practical defensive skills, drawing on real-world experience.
What You Will Do
- Teach core cyber security concepts: network security, threat detection, and secure system design
- Run hands-on labs covering common vulnerabilities and defensive best practices
- Guide trainees through practical, scenario-based security exercises
- Keep training content current with emerging threats and industry standards
- Support internal security reviews and best-practice guidance where needed
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of professional experience in cyber security or a closely related field
- Strong grasp of security fundamentals across networks, applications and systems
- Prior teaching, mentoring or bootcamp instruction experience is a strong advantage
- Able to communicate security concepts clearly to learners at all levels
- Able to work remotely from within Nigeria
Engagement: This is a contract-based role with a flexible schedule built around training cohorts. Priority is given to instructors who can commit to a consistent weekly teaching schedule.
