Westhub ICT Center is hiring an experienced web developer to join us as a contract instructor and practitioner. You will lead hands-on training for our Web Development track while also contributing to live client and product builds, giving trainees direct exposure to real, production-grade code.
What You Will Do
- Teach and mentor trainees through our Web Development curriculum, from HTML, CSS and JavaScript through to a modern framework such as React
- Design practical, project-based lessons, assignments and code-review sessions
- Contribute to live client and in-house product web builds alongside the delivery team
- Give trainees clear, constructive feedback on their code and projects
- Track trainee progress and help refine the curriculum over time
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of professional experience building web applications
- Prior teaching, mentoring or bootcamp instruction experience is a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply
- Patience for working with junior developers and first-time learners
- Able to work remotely from within Nigeria
Engagement: This is a contract-based role with a flexible schedule built around training cohorts. Priority is given to instructors who can commit to a consistent weekly teaching schedule.
